Planning Dungeon Settlers workstations
Start with the item you want to make
Search for a recipe name to find a compatible crafting station. Open the workstation to check its research unlock, construction materials and indoor requirement before assigning supplies to the project. The recipe count describes the recipes covered by this reference; different recipes can produce the same item.
Try Alchemist Workstation for Ointment, or compare the stations listed on the Grilled Meat recipe.
Separate construction from production
Building a workstation and crafting at it are two material budgets. Each Dungeon Settlers workstation page shows the base construction cost first, followed by the ingredients and output of its recipes. The ingredient summary helps identify materials used across several recipes at that station.
Research may be needed for the workstation, the finished item or both. Follow the linked studies to check prerequisites and Tech Book costs. Use the material planner once you have chosen what to make.
